In this episode [3], we are dedicated to understanding the wide-ranging implications of Martyn's Law, the mindset of a professional operating with a global stage, risks to consider (people, reputation, country reputation), and what is a successful outcome for an event like this. With our MI Team talking about their experience with the security at FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia.
Let's Talk Risk is a new series of podcasts hosted by Yolanda Hamblen, Security Circle Podcast host, and IFPO UK & Ireland advisory Board Member. Special guests Dave Price and Tony Robinson of Mitigation International. This series goes beyond just security measures to explore the other factors that help mitigate against some of the most serious and devastating terrorists and militant threats that can impact any major organisation.
Each episode will pick topics that are crucial to addressing an increasingly volatile world with emerging risks such as terrorism, advanced technologies such as drones and AI, and major international conflicts in Europe and the Far East.
Each episode will be in a 2 part format with Part 1 examining the issues of the day and published widely across social media platforms like YouTube and LinkedIn. Part 2 will then be available exclusively in a new 'Members Only' educational section of this website.
Why will we be making the 2nd part private?
Answer: We only want to share our advice to bonafide security professionals. If you are in such a role, you can join the new private member's forum and education service.
